Tony, (real name Anthony William Barnes).

I am married to Christine, it is our 25th wedding anniversary in July 2006. We have two daughters, Gemma Louise who is 23 and has just graduated from university with a 2 :1 BA Hons in IT Multimedia, and Kirsty Anne who is 21 who is currently at university doing a degree in nursing.  I am a more recent recruit to Fandeson, having been an actual member for around the last five or six years.

I am also a  huge fan of JRR Tolkiens Lord of the Rings, and have been since first reading the books back around 1974.

We are both on the wrong side of 40, (and have the grey hair to prove it), we have grown up on a staple diet of all things Gerry Anderson as well as other Sci-Fi movies, TV series and books, (although to be completely honest we will both readily admit to never actually having grown up, as of yet that is, with no intention of doing so either).

We are both members of Fanderson, the Gerry Anderson appreciation society, but we have a love of most things sci-fi & fantasy related.  Star Trek, Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings ranking very highly.

We live in and around Chesterfield, Derbyshire, which is just to the South of Sheffield, and just to the North of Derby & Nottingham.  Which is just about right in the middle of the UK.

We have been hobbyists and model makers for many years, and have built countless models figures and dioramas between us.  This web site showcases just a small amount of the models we have actually worked on over the last 25 years or more.

Is married to Carolyn, Tony and Carolyn are rapidly nearing their 25th wedding anniversary, they have no children, but do have a dog Skip which is probably just as much, if not more trouble than having children.

Tony has been a member of Fanderson since the fan club was formed in 1981 and is still going strong.
